Developing the next generation of fire service leaders
The Junior Firefighter Program is open to individuals ages 16 and 17 who are interested in learning about the fire service.
Junior members participate in structured training, classroom instruction, and hands-on skill development.
Junior Firefighters may respond to approved incidents under supervision and in accordance with department policy.
The program prepares young members for full active membership upon reaching eligibility age.
