First Responder Medical Services

Medical First Response

The Sissonville Fire Department provides emergency medical response in a First Responder capacity throughout the Sissonville Fire District. While we do not provide ambulance transport services, our personnel respond alongside Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority to assist during medical emergencies.

Early arrival and immediate intervention are critical during life-threatening emergencies. Our members provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and support until transporting EMS units arrive and assume patient care.
