Heavy Rescue Apparatus
Rescue 265 serves as the department’s heavy rescue apparatus, responding to vehicle extrications, technical rescue incidents, and complex emergency operations throughout the district and mutual aid areas.
The current Rescue 265 was placed into service following the October 1, 2010 Huston Station fire, which resulted in the loss of the department’s previous rescue apparatus along with other critical equipment.
Delivered in October 2011, the replacement Rescue 265 represents the department’s resilience and continued commitment to serving the Sissonville community.
